There's a great choice of restaurants and pubs with food in and around Dulverton but do double check what type of service they are able to provide. 

The Bridge Inn by the river Barle, is a friendly pub, offering great food. Informal and relaxed. There's an outdoor seating area and dogs are welcome too

Woods is the much celebrated wine pub of the year for the whole of the UK, for seven years running! There's a bar and the restaurant, with outdoor seating and courtyard area out the back. Do call ahead to book - as it can get busy

Tong Dam is a must for lovers of Thai Cuisine - excellent choice, delicious food and friendly people. It also offers a takeaway menu.

Other options include the Fish & Chip shop, Lion Hotel, The Copper Kettle tea rooms and Mortimers. 

All of these are few minutes walk from where you are staying. 

Outside the town there the Tarr Farm Inn, next to the ancient Tarr Steps clapper bridge Tel. 01643 851507 and for fine food fans - Michelin starred Masons Arms at Knowstone and the Royal Oak at Luxborough.
