The most enduring attraction of this part of Cornwall is the wealth of beaches, walks and other attractions all within easy driving distance of Woodlands but far too numerous to list here. We are happy to advise our visitors about all the local facilities and attractions. Further information is available from the Tourist Information Centre in St. Agnes (Tel: 01872 554150).
The National Trust manages large areas of the coastline which are freely available to the public, as well as many magnificent country houses and spectacular gardens.
The Cornwall Coastal Footpath completely encompasses Cornwall and can easily be accessed at any convenient cove or coastal village.
There are numerous theme park attractions for children.
In 2006 the Cornwall and West Devon mining landscape achieved the status of World Heritage Site, a unique area to be protected and conserved for generations to come. Visitors cannot help but be fascinated by the surviving evidence of days gone by and there are many opportunities to explore and learn about the Cornish tradition.
The newest and most popular tourist attraction, The Eden Project, is open throughout the year, but can get very busy in peak season and in inclement weather.
